    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, Faculty, Fall Semester 2021

    CLASSIFICATION: Probationary Status

    SALARY RANGE: $47,239 – $77,136 Fall 2021 Rate, excellent fringe benefits

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Teaching assignment may include a full range of courses within the Psychology discipline.
    • Teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Developmental Psychology and Human Sexuality.
    • Teaching assignment may include day, evening, weekend, and/or on-line courses.
    • Teaching responsibilities include teaching courses, maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum and participating in College service, and professional development activities.
    • Leadership in developing and improving our academic courses.
    • Community service is encouraged.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in Psychology or related coursework with course content required.
    • All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
    • Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Teaching experience at the community college level.
    • Experience and/or interest in using multi-media/new instructional technology in the classroom.
    • Experience and/or interest in online course development and instruction.
    • Experience and interest in utilizing Learning Management Systems for course enhancement or delivery.
    • Academic leadership experience.

    The selected individual will be very organized, have superior technical skills, a keen attention to detail, good communication skills, the ability to demonstrate initiative and judgment, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize efficiently and effectively are required.
