SALARY RANGE: $43,088 – $77,136 Fall 2020 Rate

JOB DUTIES:
- Teaching assignment may include a full range of courses within the Engineering Technology programs of Electronics, Engineering Graphics, Mechatronics, Precision Machining, and Welding.
- Teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses within the Engineering Technology discipline pertaining to a variety of Advanced Manufacturing concepts including; electronics, engineering design, 3D CAD software applications, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical repair, robotics, CNC machining and programming, quality standards, technical mathematical concepts, and welding.
- Teaching assignment may include day, evening, weekend, and/or on-line courses.
- Teaching responsibilities include teaching courses, maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum and participating in College service, and professional development activities.
- Leadership in developing and improving our academic courses.
- Community service is encouraged.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required in Engineering or related Engineering field.
- 4,000 hours of work experience in a mechanical engineering, engineering design, industrial technology, and/or advanced manufacturing field.
- All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Teaching experience at the community college level.
- Experience and/or interest in using multi-media/new instructional technology in the classroom.
- Experience with various 3D CAD software applications.
- Experience with programming and operating CNC machinery and related software.
- Understanding of various types of welding and fabrication processes.
- Understanding of electronics and related equipment.
- Understanding of mechatronic and robotic equipment.
- Experience and interest in utilizing Learning Management Systems for course enhancement or delivery.
