    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, Faculty, Fall Semester 2020

    CLASSIFICATION: Probationary Status

    SALARY RANGE: $43,088 – $77,136 Fall 2020 Rate

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Teaching assignment may include a full range of courses within the Computer Information Systems – Networking program.
    • Teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses including A+ certification, Server+ certification, CCNA certification, and Security+ certification.
    • Teaching assignment may include day, evening, weekend, and/or on-line courses.
    • Teaching responsibilities include teaching courses, maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum and participating in College service, and professional development activities.
    • Leadership in developing and improving our academic courses.
    • Community service is encouraged.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher required in a Computer Science or Information Technology related field.
    • 4,000 hours of work experience in computer networking or cyber security.
    • All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
    • Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Teaching experience at the community college level.
    • Master’s degree in a Computer Science or Information Technology related field.
    • Industry certifications in one or more of the following Net+, A+, Server+, CCNA, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, and/or Linux+.
    • Experience working with computer hardware.
    • Experience working with business networks.
    • Experience developing and enforcing network security strategies.
    • Experience and interest in utilizing Learning Management Systems for course enhancement or delivery.
