Job Description
The role of the Product Analyst is to support various product lines within the Consumer Products Business Team at Dart Container. They will assist in the development of business and product strategy, provide analytical support, and use creativity to identify and solve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers and markets to create and implement successful strategies
- Gather accurate and detailed information for analysis and business planning
- Provide clear and concise written summaries with logical recommendations based on company policies and strategies
- Support the management of product portfolios for growth and profitability
- Collaborate with other functions to develop and implement strategies and pricing decisions
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising customer experience
- Manage product life-cycle including development, enhancements, and optimization
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on product-line marketing and brand strategy
- Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain on demand planning and forecasting
- Assist in building business cases to support innovation and capacity expansion
- Make recommendations and decisions on supplier agreements, quality, and promotional funding
- Build relationships with key customers to maximize sales and profitability
- Promote a culture of accountability within the Business team and the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- 1 year of experience in marketing, product management, or general business
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to blend creative problem-solving with data-driven analysis and financial skills
- Ability to show initiative, take ownership of work, and provide excellent customer service
- Organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
