As our Chief Marketing Officer, you will oversee all aspects of our brand strategy, marketing, and creative. You will have the unique opportunity to unite these global functions under one umbrella for the first time at Balsam Brands. Building on our historical strengths in channel marketing, you will be responsible for substantially increasing our focus on inspiring brand storytelling and cohesive marketing campaigns. You will build and foster relationships* with cross-functional partners such as our Merchant and Digital Experience teams to delight our customers and grow our brand awareness and revenue.
This role presents a unique career opportunity to lead the beloved, established, and profitable Balsam Hill brand through a continued evolution from leading with product-focused marketing to leading with brand marketing.
We expect you to be both steadfast in your convictions and open and eager to learn.
Most of all, we are looking for you to flex both your left and right brain, balancing business objectives with creativity to deliver short- and long-term impact. You should be equally facile serving as our brand steward and leading with a creative mindset that inspires our team and guides our brand vision as you are managing the analytical demands of performance marketing and driving revenue.
You will report to our CEO, Mac Harman, and will serve as a member of Balsam’s Executive Team. You will lead a combined marketing and creative team comprised of over 100 individuals.
We are open to this role being remote anywhere in the U.S.; we will also actively recruit in our local office regions of Redwood City, CA and Boise, ID. By the Fall of 2022, we expect our local teams to work in a hybrid model, which will include two days in-office.
