Intern, Quality Assurance The Job Details are as follows: OVERVIEW Are you aspiring to work in software development and are interested in learning about the full lifecycle of Trading Systems from front to back? BAM is looking for creative and enthusiastic students to intern on BAMs growing Technology team. Students will discover insights into trading workflows and understand how and where technology meets the markets. RESPONSIBILITIES · Enhance data processing and visualization to develop insights for technology teams (ie. web scraping, log parsing, etc) · Participate in design and code reviews from development to production · Be proactive and unafraid to try POC projects/technologies · Work with Technologists from Front, Middle and Back office teams to streamline workflows. · Responsible for working within large datasets and allow users to view/interact with all aspects of it. · Work with unstructured data and impose design patterns to cleanse and webify it. · Support users on ad hoc projects QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS · Programming fundamentals, preferably with experience in Python and/or C# · Previous web development or GUI development experience strongly desired. · Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly; solid analytical, writing, verbal, technical skills · High levels of creativity and quick problem solving capabilities · Passion for coding and building quality software · Currently pursuing a Bachelors/Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or a technical related field
