    JOB SUMMARY:

    We are a real estate and property management firm that manages 2,400+ highly-desirable units in and around San Francisco. Our company is currently expanding our services to include real estate sales, and we are looking for a professional and responsible self-starter to fill the role of Sales and Leasing Agent to identify and source sales and leasing assignments and to show, sell and lease residential properties.

    The Sales and Leasing Agent, which reports to the Director of Operations, and with the support of our internal property management team, will have the responsibility of working independently to identify potential clients, negotiate listing agreements, and sell/lease those clients' residential units/properties.

    This role will be paid on a commission-basis.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    Lead Generation and Sales:

    • Identify and maintain a pipeline of potential clients

    • Conduct outbound sales and marketing efforts (phone calls, text messages, emails, etc.)

    • Perform marketing campaigns to attract prospective clients (with the support of our Director of Sales and Marketing)

    • Convert property owner leads to listing agreements

    • Negotiate terms and prepare listing agreements in accordance with company’s standards and procedures

    Sales/Leasing:

    • Take photos of available listings (leasing)

    • With the assistance of our DIrector of Sales and Marketing, draft marketing copy for listings

    • Field inquiries and follow up on leads from prospective clients

    • Tour prospective clients through available properties

    • Utilize exceptional sales skills to attract prospective clients

    • Prepare and execute leases and purchase agreements in accordance with company standards and procedures and in accordance with local, state and federal laws and guidelines

    • Effectively manage escrows to ensure smooth transactions

    • Perform credit and other background tasks to qualify applicants (leasing)

    • Collect application fees, security deposits, and rent payments (leasing)

    • Submit maintenance work orders on an as-needed basis (leasing)

    • Maintain an accurate database of potential renters, buyers, and sellers

    • Follow up with prospective clients when properties that fit their search criteria become available

    • Perform move-in walk-through and checklist with new residents (leasing)

    Miscellaneous:

    • Collaborate with Senior Property manager and Director of Operations to establish and refine best practices, standards, and procedures, and identify areas to create efficiencies within sales and leasing department

    • Assist in establishing and maintaining standardized policies for sales and leasing department.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

    • 2+ years’ residential leasing and/or experience

    • Active CA Real Estate Salesperson or Brokers license required

    • Strong knowledge of the real estate industry

    • Experience in the San Francisco market is preferred

    • Strong interpersonal skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Consistent and thorough attention to detail

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision

    • Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office

    • Familiarity with Appfolio is a plus
