Position Summary

The Loan Processor supports the Loan Operations team by assisting with the preparation, review, and maintenance of loan documentation. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of loan files while learning bank systems, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Assist in preparing and reviewing loan documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Support loan file setup, tracking, and maintenance throughout the loan lifecycle
• Enter and update loan data in bank systems
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather required documentation
• Communicate with customers or third parties to obtain missing information
• Assist with loan boarding, modifications, and payoffs
• Monitor loan ticklers and follow up on outstanding items
• Support compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with reporting and audit requests as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in banking, finance, or administrative support preferred
• Basic understanding of financial documents or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
