IBT Apps is currently looking to recruit an ideal candidate for the position of Bank Services Specialist. This person is responsible for the end-of-day processing for multiple financial institutions within the organization. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that financial institutions can open for business the next business day, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.

The Bank Services Specialist is responsible for completing the end-of-day process for multiple financial institutions.

Duties

MICR information validation (Daily)

Using capture software, verify and correct potential rejected data for transactions.

ACH File processing (Daily)

Verify that ACH File import automation process works correctly. If there is a problem, follow the procedures provided to ensure file is processed.

Cash Letter creation (Daily)

Create outgoing cash letters for daily transactions for financial institutions. Send file to appropriate correspondent bank or Federal Reserve Bank as noted.

Credit Bureau file processing (Monthly)

Using procedures, producing and submitting the Credit Bureau file(s) for financial institutions.

FIDM file processing (Quarterly)

Using procedures, produce and submit the FIDM File(s) for financial institutions.

End of day processing for financial institutions (Daily)

Using procedures and a checklist, start a batch job that runs the end of day processing for multiple financial institutions.

Release/Patch deployment (as needed)

Provide notification of appropriate timing for deployment of releases/patches.

Other duties (Daily – as needed)

There may be other duties assigned at times. The above listed duties are not intended to be an exhaustive list.

Skills & Requirements

Academic degrees don’t carry too much weight with us, but they make statements about your work ethics. You should demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.

Familiarity with the financial industry is advantageous but not required.

Good computer skills (email, word, excel) are a benefit, as most of the work done is done on the computer.

10-key proficient, will be validated

Must be prepared to work until all work is completed.

Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with others not in the same location.

Must have the ability to multi-task successfully.
