We are searching for a Teller to provide full-time, onsite support for a Las Vegas financial institution. This position is contract-to-hire and pays $19 to $21 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service and resolve customer issues.
- Receive and process retail and commercial deposits.
- Cash checks and savings withdrawals within authorized limits.
- Operate computer terminal to process account activity and resolve issues.
- Balance cash drawer daily and verify vault transactions.
- Cross-sell financial products and services.
- Process loan payments and installment payments.
- Assist with night depository duties and safe deposit access.
- Handle stop payment and hold orders.
- Perform clerical tasks including filing, typing, and answering phones.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in the banking field.
- Experience in cash handling and customer service.
- Knowledge of banking operations and terminology.
- Understanding of state and federal banking regulations.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
