    Bank of Pontiac is seeking professional, motivated, customer-service driven candidates for our Part-Time Teller position at our Minier branch.

    Our Tellers are the face of Bank of Pontiac within the communities we serve. Their role is crucial in retaining our existing customers as well as growing and developing new customer relationships by continually offering outstanding customer service and ensuring that Bank of Pontiac is meeting their financial needs.

    Ideal candidates that would make a great Bank of Pontiac Tellers’ are individuals who are flexible, customer-oriented, and ready to meet the needs of any Bank of Pontiac customer to the best of their ability.

    Our tellers must possess strong customer service skills, be community minded, collaborative, dependable, flexible, adaptive learners, as well as highly motivated and be positive thinking.


    Job Responsibilities and Duties:

    Perform Teller transactions daily, paying specific attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and potential fraud.

    Handle large amounts of cash and manage cash handling requirements.

    Engage with customers to determine needs.

    Maintain positive communications with customers and non-customers to develop new business and enhance relationships with existing customers.

    Go the “extra mile” to build trusting relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout your interactions.

    Promote all Bank of Pontiac products and services.

    Adhere to Bank policies and procedures.

    Demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions based on Bank policies, knowledge, and experience.

    Verify that all policies and procedures are followed and that the risk of fraud is minimized.

    Perform any and all other duties, as assigned.


    Requirements and Qualifications:

    A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.

    1+ years of Banking experience is preferred, but not required; we will train the otherwise qualified candidate.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Provide exceptional customer service.

    Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

    Strong attention to detail

    Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

    Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality.

    This is a part-time position working at our Minier, IL location.

    8AM to 5PM Monday Thru Friday

    8AM to 12PM Saturday

    Total hours: 16-20 hours a week.
