About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join our growing team in Ogden. This role focuses primarily on Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy matters. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to help clients navigate financial challenges while developing strong legal and client relationship skills. This is an in-office position to ensure collaboration and mentorship. After successful completion of training and demonstration of independence, limited hybrid flexibility may be considered in the future. Periodic travel to our Sandy and Orem offices may be required as part of this position. Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to review and sign bankruptcy documents • Manage Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 cases from filing to completion • Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, motions, and other pleadings • Attend hearings and maintain clear client communication throughout the process • Ensure all filings comply with court rules and deadlines • Collaborate with team members to maintain accuracy and efficiency across all cases • Manage assigned caseload independently once trained Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) and active Utah Bar license (or awaiting admission) • 0–3 years of experience preferred (bankruptcy experience a plus, but not required) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong client service and organizational abilities • Self-motivated with a professional and team-oriented approach • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly
