As a Bankruptcy Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience or a track record of handling 300+ bankruptcy cases. Responsibilities: • Review bankruptcy files with the paralegal and the client • Prepare clients for their 341 meetings • Review bankruptcy notices, motions, objections, and pleadings • Work effectively with the case attorney and trustees • Review and analyze each case for issues and practice ways to resolve those issues (refiles, conversions, modifications, etc) • Other duties specific to your assigned cases may include reaffirmations, modifications, dismissals, legal research, etc. • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews Qualifications: • Passion for helping people • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred • Member of the Texas State Bar and in good standing • Member of the four Texas Federal Courts or at least one, and willing to apply to others • Ability to provide legal instruction independently Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly
