We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to join our bankruptcy section team. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience supporting attorneys in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters, including preparing and filing petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, motions, and other pleadings. The position requires proficiency with CM/ECF electronic filing, bankruptcy software such as Next Chapter or similar platforms, and a strong working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and Local Rules for the Northern District of Georgia. Responsibilities: • Managing case dockets and deadlines. • Drafting and preparing petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, motions, and other pleadings. • Coordinating with trustees and the U.S. Trustee's Office. • Assisting with adversary proceedings and related litigation. • Conducting asset and lien searches. • Reviewing financial documents and assisting with discovery. Qualifications: • Must have at least 5 years of experience as a bankruptcy paralegal. • Must have experience working with Next Chapter, Best Case, or other bankruptcy software. • Preferred experience with Clio or other timekeeping software. • Preferred experience managing multiple cases simultaneously and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 yearly
