    Project Analyst Intern Banks & Company LLC - Southfield, MI Full-time, Part-time, Internship, Commission Project Analyst Banks & Company Primary Location Southfield - Michigan Full-time / Part-time/Commission Part-Time/Commission Employee Status Contractor Overtime Status Exempt Job Type Experienced Travel Yes, 5 % of the Time Shift Day General Summary Provides analytical support to a department, district, or division by developing, preparing, and distributing recurring and complex periodic reports. Participates in and coordinates various projects as specified by management and provides research and data analysis support as directed. Maintains thorough knowledge of specific areas of assignment and maintains proficiency with software and business applications that facilitate the realization of those assignments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Assists in preparing and/or revising proposals, reports, presentations, and procedures. * Assist in projects and performs analytical tasks to support established goals and initiatives. * Assists in testing, training and implementation of assigned projects. * Completes special assignments, studies and analyses. Generate and prepare routine and ad-hoc reports. * Monitors and reports progress using appropriate communications for Internal or External audiences. * Prepares and implements detailed project plans and assigned tasks, including definition of scope, requirements, objectives, resource allocation, task schedules, and milestones. * Provides analytical support to department/division liaisons for Enterprise or staff, and management for various business functions as needed. * Resolve routine business issues. Escalates difficult and complex questions or problems to other analysts or management. * Performs other duties as assigned * Actively supports adopting, building and maintaining a culture that reflects the Enterprise core values and behaviors * Establishes collaborative relationships with stakeholders. * Creates/contributes to a collaborative team environment where members produce quality and collective outcomes, while consistently holding each other accountable for high standards of performance. * Actively supports driving process improvements and best-practice sharing across teams Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Technical aptitude and knowledge of computer hardware and software, operating systems, browsers, basic Internet navigation, and downloading/installing software. * Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Good analytical, multitasking, and time management skills. * Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to recognize patterns in data and to provide recommendations based on those patterns * Effectively communicate data, new processes and innovative ideas * Effective communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teams/stakeholders * Effective presentation skills including ability to communicate insights through data with varying levels of management * Able to assume accountability and resiliency in the face of obstacles by maintaining the drive to achieve results in a collaborative setting Minimum Education/Training/Certification Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum Work Experience Typically requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience Special Requirements N/A Banks & Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
