    Join our Events & Food & Beverage team as a Banquet Captain and play a key role in delivering exceptional private events, weddings, and celebrations at one of the most stunning private clubs on the coast.

    This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who enjoys being hands-on, leading from the floor, and turning well-planned events into truly memorable experiences.

    What You'll Do

    As a Banquet Captain, you'll be the point person for your assigned events — ensuring everything runs smoothly, beautifully, and on time. You'll:

    • Oversee banquet service for private events, weddings, and special occasions

    • Lead, coach, and support banquet staff during events, fostering a positive, professional team environment

    • Ensure all rooms are set precisely according to the BEO (Banquet Event Order)

    • Act as the liaison between Front of House and Back of House to ensure seamless service

    • Conduct regular floor checks during events, assisting the team as needed

    • Handle Member and guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with care

    • Maintain excellent service timing and pacing throughout each event

    • Troubleshoot event needs in real time (AV, music, heaters, fans, room flow, etc.)

    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and service standards

    • Complete opening, closing, and post-event checklists and reports

    • Continuously look for ways to elevate service and improve satisfaction scores

    What We're Looking For

    You're a confident, service-minded leader who leads by example and keeps calm under pressure. You're a great fit if you:

    • Have hands-on banquet or event service experience (required)

    • Understand fine dining and high-end hospitality standards

    • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and staff

    • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

    • Enjoy coaching others and building strong, collaborative teams

    • Take pride in delivering flawless guest experiences

    • Thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment

    • Private club experience is a plus, but not required.
