Responsibilities: • Manage controllable department expenses such as food, supplies, uniforms, equipment, and collaborate with vendors to achieve the highest quality products at the most reasonable price • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen • Combine diverse ingredients in a unique way to create new and distinctive menu items and specials • Recruit, train, and lead all kitchen personnel while instilling a sense of teamwork through positive feedback, mentoring, and support • Read, follow, and create a plan per the banquet event order instructions • Collaborate with our sales department in a positive manner, always being an advocate for our guests Qualifications: • Strong leadership skills with experience leading, motivating, and developing a team • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000
