    We’re searching for a banquet cook who will work with our head cook/chef to prep a variety of foods, and stock food stations with ingredients and condiments. You’ll be responsible for keeping all food stations and equipment neat, clean and sanitized. You must read recipe directions in English and operate kitchen equipment, including sharp knives and measuring tools. Expect some lifting, bending, and standing on your feet during your shift, as well as the ability to take on other duties as needed. Responsibilities: • Wash, sort, prep, slice, and measure ingredients for recipes, using condiments, vegetables, and proteins, and mixing sauces for use in various meals • Clean food stations and prep areas and sanitize equipment and kitchen utensils after closing to maintain proper hygiene • Read Banquet Event Orders and prepare meals accordingly • Assist other cooks in the kitchen as needed Qualifications: • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays and be willing to pitch in working extra hours at the supervisor’s request • Basic familiarity with operating kitchen equipment • You should possess the basic knowledge of food preparation and perform these duties with minimal supervision from the head cook or chef Compensation: $17.50 - $19.50 hourly
