The Yorktowne Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is now hiring a Banquet Houseperson. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and breaking down all banquet events and meeting spaces. Responsibilities: • Review all Banquet function sheets and set up each function room according to instructions. • Ensures that all required items are provided according to instructions. • Sign out necessary keys from a key lock box at the beginning of the shift and return keys at the end of the shift. • Maintains the cleanliness of banquet function spaces. • Continually maintains communication with the guest contact person for needed necessary items, including but not limited to extra chairs, tables, etc. • Informs the supervisor of guest complaints/compliments. • Break down all equipment at the end of the function. • Return all equipment to the necessary storage location. Qualifications: • Prior banquet experience. • Prior banquet set-up experience.
