    Banquet Manager to serve as the lead host for our most significant celebrations. From intimate weddings to high-level corporate gatherings, you will be the primary steward of the guest experience, ensuring that every event is handled with warmth, precision, and a relentless focus on hospitality excellence.


    Essential Hospitality Responsibilities

    • Guest-Centric Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and guests, transforming their vision into a flawlessly executed reality with a personal, attentive touch.
    • Team Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of banquet professionals, fostering a culture where "hospitality first" is the guiding principle for every interaction.
    • Seamless Event Flow: Oversee the lifecycle of every function—from the initial welcome to the final farewell—ensuring that service is intuitive, professional, and timed to perfection.
    • Culinary Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with our culinary team to ensure that food quality, presentation, and service flow exceed guest expectations and reflect the soul of Napa Valley.
    • Ambassador of Excellence: Maintain a sophisticated presence on the floor during events, proactively identifying guest needs and resolving any concerns with grace and genuine care.
    • Environment Stewardship: Ensure all event spaces are pristine, inviting, and meticulously set, creating an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming.
    • Operational Integrity: Manage the logistical "behind-the-scenes" details—including staffing, budgets, and safety standards—so that the front-facing guest experience remains uninterrupted and effortless.

     

    Qualifications for the Role

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.
    • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience specifically within luxury banquet operations or high-end event management.
    • Service Mindset: A proven track record of delivering world-class hospitality and the ability to instill those values in a team.
    • Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to motivate others and manage complex human dynamics in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility: A commitment to being present when our guests need us most, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in event management software (Delphi, Social Tables, or similar) and POS systems.
