Responsibilities: • Strengthen a customer-focused banquet event department continuously by developing policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-cutting measures • Record the outcomes of each event to evaluate and improve future events and procedures • Send banquet event orders to on-site staff members so they are informed of necessary duties and assignments • Communicate with customers to go through banquet event choices that fit their budget and go over any modifications, questions, or concerns to guarantee a great product is delivered • Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service Qualifications: • High school graduate or GED equivalent with a degree in hospitality management preferred • Over 3 years experience managing a team in a hospitality role, preferably in a food service capacity • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) are needed • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
