Responsibilities: • Engage with customers to go through banquet event options that suit their budget and go over any changes, questions, or concerns to ensure a quality product is provided • Send banquet event orders to on-site staff members so they are informed of necessary duties and assignments • Strengthen a customer-focused banquet event department continuously by developing policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-cutting measures • Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service • Assess and document the outcome of each event to propel future improvement upon all processes Qualifications: • Over 3 years experience managing a team in a hospitality role, preferably in a food service capacity • High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in hospitality management preferred • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality • Display excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers • Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) Compensation: $22 per hour
