Our banquet team is looking for a courteous and attentive server who can provide our guests with a great experience at special events. Our banquet servers are responsible for serving food and beverages to guests, clearing plates and silverware, and ensuring any special guest needs are met. This position requires a team-first approach since you'll be working closely with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff to ensure the event runs smoothly. Responsibilities: • Deliver and serve appetizers, main courses, condiments, desserts, and other side dishes, as well as drinks to guests • Remove plates, replacing utensils, and keeping an eye out for spills or any special needs from guests • Refill the guests' glasses as necessary or requested with coffee, water, or other drinks • Offer an outstanding guest experience from the beginning to the end of each banquet event • Review relevant food handling safety regulations to ensure that you and your team are following them • Provides a pleasant banquet experience to customers • Serves drinks and food while maintaining a clean and sanitary service area • Attention to detail and presentation of banquet set-up • Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Qualifications: • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • Experience working in food service is preferred • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • Display superior communication and interpersonal skills interacting with guests and coworkers • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly
