DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Banquet Server to become a part of our team. As a valued member of our team, you will have a vital role in crafting memorable moments for our guests. Your meticulous nature and welcoming attitude will guarantee the success of every occasion. Responsibilities: • Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, deferring to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. • Inform the Banquet Captain of all guest comments and challenges. • Act to ensure guest satisfaction by reviewing all banquet event orders and meeting with the Banquet Captain prior to functions to discuss special requirements. • Extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests. • Verify with the Banquet Captain that the room is set up to guest satisfaction. • Ensure proper execution of all banquet functions, meeting all customer specifications and special requests. • Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware and serving equipment, handling both to minimize breakage. • Ensure that all banquet equipment is always kept in good working order. • Maintain cleanliness standards and excellent condition of equipment and surrounding work areas. • Attend pre-service meetings with the Banquet Captain to ensure service standards are met. • Check all banquet rooms daily and immediately report any maintenance problems to the Engineering Department. • Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions. • Always maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas. Qualifications: • High-quality standards for production and service. • Strong verbal communication skills. • Courteous, friendly, and professional manner. • Customer service focus. • Trustworthy and reliable. • Previous banquet experience required. • High School Diploma. • Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays. • Must be eligible to work in the USA. Compensation: $2.13 + Tips
