The banquet server's primary role is to provide food and beverage service at catered events like weddings, parties, and corporate functions. Apply today. Responsibilities: Event Setup & Preparation: • Setting up tables, chairs, linens, and place settings. • Arranging buffets and drink stations. • Ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are in place. Food & Beverage Service: • Serving food and beverages to guests, either plated or from a buffet. • Refilling drinks and ensuring guests have everything they need. • Taking food and drink orders and relaying them to the kitchen. • Answering questions about menu items. Post-Event Duties: • Clearing tables and removing dirty dishes. • Cleaning up the event space and restoring it to its original state. • Assisting with the inventory and storage of equipment and food. General Responsibilities: • Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive experience for guests. • Working collaboratively with other staff members, including kitchen staff and event planners. • Maintaining a clean and organized work area. • Adhering to safety and sanitation standards. • Being available to work on-call, as events may vary in schedule. Qualifications: • Prior banquet experience preferred but not required. • Food service or similar industry experience is ideal. • Weekend availability. Compensation: $16.66 an hour
