The Marriott Tacoma Downtown is looking for enthusiastic, customer-service-driven, detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up/House Persons to ensure our event functions are set up and ready for our guests to enjoy their special day. Responsibilities: • Reviews all Banquet function sheets and sets up each function room according to instructions. • Ensures that all required items are provided according to instructions. • Maintains the cleanliness of banquet function spaces. • Continually maintains communication with the guest contact person for needed necessary items, including but not limited to: extra chairs, tables, etc. • Informs supervisor of guest complaints/compliments. • Breaks down all equipment at the end of the function. Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. • Prior banquet experience ideal but not required. Compensation: $24 Hourly
