  • Responsibilities

    The Banquet Supervisor manages and coordinates food and beverage service for catered events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while leading and supporting staff. Responsibilities include planning, setting up, executing, and breaking down events, training team members, and maintaining equipment, all while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This role is typically based in hotels or restaurants. Responsibilities: • Operational Management: Oversees set-up, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet client expectations. • Staff Leadership: Trains, schedules, supervises, and evaluates banquet staff, including servers and housepersons. • Guest Relations: Greets clients, ensures satisfaction, and resolves guest complaints promptly. • Logistics & Coordination: Coordinates with catering, kitchen, and sales teams to manage room layouts, menus, and timelines. • Safety & Sanitation: Ensures compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. • Inventory Control: Manages inventory of small wares and equipment. Qualifications: • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a similar, fast-paced food and beverage or hospitality role. • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills. • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Knowledge: Familiarity with banquet service procedures, POS software, and service standards. Compensation: $24 Hourly
