Banyan Search is currently assisting a Triad organization in their search for a Corporate Controller.  This organization is in a growth mode and needs the Corporate Controller to lead the corporate accounting and financial management team. The ideal candidate will have proven Corporate Controllership experience in a dynamic/high growth environment, and will have experience in leading the accounting activities for corporate M&A activity.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and review preparation of financial statements
• Review financial statements at a regional and consolidated level, and understand/explain variances to determine financial performance and trends
• Oversee the forecast and budget process
• Provide support and assistance to corporate and branch accounting staff
• Prepare financial info and KPI’s for Board of Directors
• Oversee general ledger and financial reporting
• Work with external auditors on audit and tax matters

Qualified candidates for the Corporate Controller role will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting management experience
• 5+ years of Corporate Controllership leadership experience
• Public accounting experience a plus
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Multi-site accounting experience and M&A experience strongly desired
• The ability to communicate effectively using both written and oral communication.
• Strong computer skills with an ERP system
• The ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
