Banyan Search is working with a rapidly growing vacation company in the Greater Myrtle Beach area who is seeking to hire a Departmental Logistical Coordinator to be a part of their HOA accounting team. Description:
- This position will be responsible for maintaining the following (but not limited to) reporting deliverables and databases across a portfolio of 200+ managed resorts as well as partnering with Accounting and Operations teams:
- Resort assignments by Accountant
- Status of monthly financial report delivery
- Due on the 25th of following month
- Manage and lead Resort Audits:
- Audit requirements
- Engagement letters
- Audit status
- Audit completions
- Coordinate Statutory & Internal requirements:
- Maintain Organization Charts for 70+ HOA Accounting associates
- Coordinate recruiting initiatives
- General departmental support functions for three corporate locations.
Partner with Departmental Peers:
- Assist Rental Accounting with processing service tickets and other tasks
- Assist HOA Accounting with Bank reconciliations and other tasks
Requirements:
- Keen Organizational skillset required
- Accounting experience is preferred but not required
- Timeshare, HOA or Hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to partner and establish professional relationships with individuals across the organization at all levels
- 2+ years of practical business office experience
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing software
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent customer services
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
