Newly created position with outstanding, growing Winston-Salem organization. The Senior Financial Business Analyst role will have great exposure throughout the company.  Position will report to the VP of Finance and will provide support to the CFO and CIO.  This is a role that will have many features including accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis and special projects.  The Senior Financial Business Analyst will focus on supporting the IT department and its functions for the organization providing financial leadership and guidance.

Senior Financial Business Analyst responsibilities:

• Provide financial support and analysis for the IT department
• Perform variance analysis on trends and financial plans
• Review IT projects for financial compliance with GAAP
• Prepare financial reports and KPI’s for management review
• Analyze budgets and prepare forecasts for the IT department
• Work with and assist external auditors

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years’ experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• CPA preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced Excel skills
• Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and Microsoft Power BI
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
