Banyan Search is assisting in a search for a Senior Manager of Tax for a Triad based organization. The Senior Manager of Tax will be responsible for all accounting and reporting for income taxes of this global corporation. The Senior Manager will:

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and closing for all income tax relateditems
• Assist with SEC filings related to income tax disclosures, including preparing MD&A and footnote disclosures
• Assist with ensuring accuracy of income tax provision computations
• Manage reporting of income tax information as needed to internal and external customers
• Work closely with external auditors on tax matters and providing documentation as needed
• Research tax related issues and interpret regulatory guidance to ensure appropriate tax treatment
• Present technical guidance to executives or other departments as needed to ensure appropriate tax treatment and processes are in place
• Partner with all areas of the organization to ensure the appropriate reporting of income taxes to both internal and external customers

Qualifications include:

• BS/BA in Accounting with Active CPA required
• 7+ years in corporate tax, or within public accounting within tax field working with global publicly traded corporations
• Strong tax competency including tax research, understanding and experience with tax provisions, and exposure to SEC filings/requirements as they pertain to tax disclosures
• Exceptional communication and collaborative team skills
