Banyan Search is currently assisting a Winston-Salem based financial services company with their search for a Senior Financial Analyst.  The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the Finance team in analyzing results for various business lines and products and providing management with financial forecasts.  This role will also participate in management meetings providing financial data to the CFO and management team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets
• Prepare forecast and analyze trends for various business units
• Variance analysis for profit centers
• Analyze departmental income statements
• Analyze performance and profitability of deposit and loan products
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics
• Prepare financial reports for management and board

Qualified candidates for the Senior Financial Analyst role will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Financial institution experience a plus
• The ability to communicate effectively using both written and oral communication.
• Strong computer skills.
• The ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
