Banyan Search is assisting a wonderful client that is adding to their financial planning/analysis team due to growth. The Financial Analyst will be an integral team member that will be challenged to: 

• Directly support Operations in evaluating financial performance
• Assist in the development of annual and strategic financial plans
• Analyze trends and key performance indicators to determine measures to improve financial results
• Work with global teams in preparation of financial reports related to period closing and executive reporting
• Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting for operations team on financial results
• Maintain Balanced Scorecard reporting
• Perform ad hoc reporting
• Prepare presentations for executive management as needed
• Develop financial models to support analyses and projections

Minimum Requirements:

The Financial Analyst should have:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or comparable degree
• MBA strongly preferred
• ADVANCED Excel skills
• Ability to work with charts, pivot tables, macros, and strong ability to create presentations
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present results to management team
• Driven, motivated and strong critical thinking skills
• Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Cost Accounting experience a plus
