Banyan Search is assisting our Triad client in the search for an Investment Accountant.  This investment company is looking for an individual to be an integral part of their financial team.  This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly successful and growing organization and will provide diversified responsibilities and the opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain general ledgers including the preparation and processing of journal entries for investment portfolios
• Work closely with investment teams on quarterly calculations regarding interest and amortization
• Monthly close process and hands-on exposure with preparation of financial statement information
• Preparation of cash flow reports for investment fund teams
• Oversight and processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Calculation and maintenance of interest calculations for loans to portfolio companies
• Assist and prepare documentation for external auditors including footnote disclosures

Qualifications include:

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
• Big 4 audit experience or private fund accounting experience
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience
• CPA and/or CPA candidate
• Strong computer skills including Excel
