Banyan Search is assisting a growing Charlotte-based client in their search for a Financial Analyst. Our client offers an exciting, dynamic high growth environment and it is an exciting time to join this exceptional team. The Financial Analyst will be an integral team member that will be challenged to:

• Assist in the development of annual and strategic financial plans for critical business lines
• Perform variance analysis between actuals and budget
• Perform month end accounting accruals, and account reconciliations for supported business lines
• Analyze trends and key performance indicators to determine measures to improve financial results
• Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting
• Prepare presentations for executive management as needed
• Develop financial models to support analyses and projections
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support analytical/accounting activities

 The Financial Analyst should have:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or comparable degree
• MBA or CPA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in large corporate FP&A environment
• ADVANCED Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present results to management team
• Driven, motivated and strong critical thinking skills
