Banyan Search is currently assisting a Triad based investment services firm with their search for a Strategic Financial Analyst. The Strategic Financial Analyst is a newly created role and will be a liaison between the accounting team and the investment team. This role will include ad hoc work analyzing the investment performance of various ventures of the firm. Additional responsibilities will include modeling and preparing forecasts for proposed investment strategies. An understanding of private equity and accounting is desired. This organization is in a growth mode and this role will be highly visible within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Private Equity experience a plus
• The ability to communicate effectively using both written and oral communication.
• Strong computer skills.
• The ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
