Exceptional Triad company is searching for a Senior Manager of Internal Audit to join their team. The Sr. Manager of Internal Audit will play an integral role in ensuring corporate policies are adhered to within SOX guidelines. Additionally, the Sr. Manager of Internal Audit will design and lead internal audit projects relevant to company/industry trends to ensure adequate internal control processes. Specific responsibilities include:

• Lead audit work including design of audit plan, testing of controls, reporting of results to management and performance of remediation as needed
• Perform SOX testing and work with internal and external customers (specifically external auditors) to ensure appropriate controls environment and testing
• Obtain understanding of industry to allow for design of audit projects that will ensure protection of corporate assets
• Communicate audit results effectively with all members of leadership, with both written audit reports and in presentations
• Work closely with other Internal Audit team members and leadership to ensure Internal Audit objectives are met

Minimum Qualifications for the Sr. Manager of Internal Audit include:

• BS/BA in Accounting, with advanced degree strongly preferred
• CPA and/or CIA required
• Experience working with a publicly traded corporate environment, either within an Internal Audit function or in public accounting
• SOX testing experience
• 7+ years of experience within public accounting or a combination of both public accounting and a corporate internal audit role
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Strong ability to work within a team, and work collaboratively with a variety of groups
• Strong desire to learn and grow
