Find out why this is the best place to be your best!Description:The New Grad RN Residency starts March 28, 2022.  The BHSF New Grad RN Residency is now accepting applications.  This comprehensive, evidence-based onboarding, education and training program is designed specifically to transition newly graduated registered nurses from students to safe, competent professional practitioners. The program is designed to help them gain the experience, judgment, skills and confidence they need to navigate the complexity of hospital life. Integrated into our hospital's educational structure, the BHSF New Grad RN Residency includes guided preceptor clinical experience, instructor-led core curriculum, interactive classes and skills labs, a formal mentoring program, debriefing/self-care sessions, and 360-degree evaluation. RN Residents, with support, progress to the competent level quickly, safely, and effectively. The length of the residency program is 18-22 weeks. This position is for any recent RN graduate with less than 6 months of acute care experience.  Applications must be completed and submitted via our applicant tracking system.  Placement, interview, and location preferences are not guaranteed.  Why Join our RN Residency Program? Clinical Learning Support - The Baptist Health South Florida residency is fully integrated into our educational structure and has more than 500 employees serving as preceptors, managers, clinical educators and mentors.Preceptor Program - Clinical preceptorship following the Married State preceptor model geared to guide the novice nurse towards the clinical immersion  including  communication and  socialization into the culture of the nursing within the organization Collaborative Support Model - also part of the RN residency supportive components brings together the team in a meeting to discuss the resident progression. The team includes the leader, educator, preceptor and resident to establish goals for the residents’ success.Tuition Reimbursement – Advance your nursing education to BSN, MSN and beyond through our tuition reimbursement benefit.    Qualifications:Applicant must be a graduate from a nursing program accredited by the CCNE or ACEN; Associates Degree in Nursing required. Candidates selected must obtain a Florida RN license along with a current BLS card prior to March 23rd . Please note you must complete the screening questions and the pre-employment assessment in order for your application to be considered. Candidates selected for the residency will need to provide the following documents:- 2-3 Letters of Recommendation from your clinical professor/instructor- Original Nursing Degree/Diploma or Official/Unofficial Transcript indicating the nursing degree awarded- Original FL RN license or Authorization to Test (ATT) Letter and NCLEX date confirmation (if you already have the test scheduled)- Original BLS for Healthcare Provider card (expiration date on card must be later than 11/2022).Join our Talent Community and stay up-to-date on our career opportunities.
