Bar & Cocoa is an online marketplace and subscription club featuring the best bean to bar and craft chocolate. We sell premium, ethically made chocolate from the world's best chocolate makers. The Shipping & Receiving position is a business critical role and the heart of what we do for getting chocolate to our happy customers. This role includes pulling, packing, assembling, sorting and shipping/receiving orders. Required days are Monday 8:30-5pm, and flexible schedule outside of that. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Keep the warehouse organized, ensure adequate supply of shipping/packing materials and boxes for shipping. - Restock picking shelfs and unpack products for shipping. - Maintain a safe and clean work environment. - Adhere to proper packing techniques and shipping practices. Pack all orders for shipping while being mindful of being efficient and shipping in the most cost effective and timely manner. - Other duties as assigned. SKILLS - Super detailed oriented, excellent organization skills. - Time management and a sense of urgency related to shipping/receiving - Familiar with USPS, UPS, DHL, Fedex shipping or adept at learning. - Experience with fulfillment services and software such as Shopify, Shippo is a plus. WORKING CONDITIONS Office space and warehouses are temperature controlled. Employees must regularly be able to lift and or move up to 55 pounds of packed goods, and also move more heavy boxes with assistance. Must be able to stand/walk up to eight hours a day. QUALIFICATIONS Background check required. Must have reliable transportation and valid Drivers ID. Must be willing to perform a drug test. Interest in craft food and marketing preferred. Photography skills are a plus.
