    Join our team at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza as our Bar Manager. The Bar Manager oversees daily beverage operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, safety compliance, and profitability. Key responsibilities include hiring and training staff, managing inventory and purchasing, creating schedules, developing cocktail menus, and optimizing sales. They maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities: • Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, barbacks, and security staff. • Inventory & Purchasing: Monitor stock levels, order liquor/supplies, and manage vendor relationships. • Financial Performance: Meet revenue goals, manage budgets, control inventory costs, and handle cash reporting. • Operations & Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and local liquor laws. • Customer Experience: Handle complaints, build customer rapport, and maintain the venue's atmosphere. Qualifications: • Experience: Generally 2–3 years of hands-on, high-volume hospitality experience. • Knowledge: Deep understanding of beverage trends, cocktails, and inventory management. • Certifications: Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications are often required. • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities. • Technical: Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software.
