    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Cream City Concepts is actively seeking an experienced and professional Bar Manager to lead one of our expanding restaurants and bar locations, Oak Barrel Public House. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and committed to operational excellence.

    We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Manager to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for both guests and staff. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including drink preparation and compliance with health and safety standards. You will work closely with the General Manager to train and support bar staff, ensuring top-tier service and memorable guest experiences.

    KEY RESONSABILITIES

    Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.

    Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and offering drink recommendations.

    Supervise and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and surfaces.

    Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service when applicable.

    Ensure responsible service by monitoring guest alcohol consumption.

    Stay current on industry trends, new products, and innovative drink recipes.

    Coach and mentor bar staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Proven experience as a bartender or in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.

    Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and bar operations.

    Excellent customer service and multitasking skills, especially in high-volume settings.

    Understanding of food safety practices and health regulations related to beverage service.

    Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to guide and support team members effectively.

    Must be of legal drinking age as required by local regulations.

    This position involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

    COMPENSATION

    This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting directly to the General Manager.

    Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

    The position consists of both tipped bartending shifts and non-tipped floor managing shifts.
