About the Role:
Drugstore Cowboy in Silver Lake, is looking for a strong barback/busser who is down to work longer hours and reap the rewards. We are sports bar with a big football season just around the corner as well as a popular busy late night cocktail lounge. We have established ourselves in the neighborhood over the past few years and have very loyal following. The work is hard, and we wear a lot of hats, but we have a very tight knit crew and have a great time together. Position is tipped and tips are significant.
Scheduling requirements: Friday: 5pm-Close Saturday: 6pm-Close Sunday: Day or Night Shift as needed depending on Sports Scheduling. Not every week.

Responsibilities:
Support bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, and bar supplies throughout each shift
Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment
Restock glassware, ice, garnishes, and other bar essentials to ensure seamless service
Assist with bussing dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables and the bar area
Maintain cleanliness of the bar, floor, and service stations throughout the shift
Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and floor staff to anticipate needs
Assist with opening and closing side work duties as assigned
Run food and utensils to customers.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a barback, busser, or in a restaurant/bar support role preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume bar or restaurant environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be able to stand, walk, and carry heavy items for extended periods
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must meet minimum age requirements to work in an establishment serving alcohol
Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude under pressure
Must be able to lift 150 lbs.
English proficiency required.
