Job Description
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DYNAMIC INDIVIDUAL TO FILL OUR OFFICE MANAGER ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION. As the "face of our firm" you will be in charge of handling the phones, scheduling appointments, determining client needs and meeting those needs when you are able to do so. You will determine office supply needs and place orders and be a great back-up to the accountants. You will have the opportunity to learn accounts payable and other bookkeeping functions. As a CPA firm working with clients in many different industries you will have the opportunity to learn about different types of businesses and their special accounting needs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
*All aspects of office management/administrative assistant
*Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Banking
*Excel spreadsheets for certain clients to tally daily sales reports and record expenses
*Assistance to CPA and Staff on special projects
*Assemble all different types of tax returns accurately and efficiently (with training)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
*Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
*Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software helpful but not mandatory
*10 Key by touch (or willing to learn)
*Accurate keyboard skills
*Excellence in grammar, communications, client services (written and oral)
*Team player – willing to take on any challenge
*Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple clients
*Willingness to learn
This is a full-time, permanent position.
