Training Assistant

Pay Rate: $13.00/hour – 24 hours a week with flexible scheduling.

The Barber National Institute is hiring a part-time Training Assistant that supports the operational functions of the Training Department. This position requires a high degree of initiative and self-direction with a positive attitude in making sure that the offerings of the department are successful.

Responsibilities:

• Develop weekly orientation roster and distribute to training staff.
• Develop weekly room schedule for the north building and distribute to designated group.
• Complete quality review of completed orientation training to ensure trainings are captured with bar code system.
• Monitor emails sent to Barber Hub email address and respond as appropriate.
• Maintain/update content on the Barber Hub provided by Relias, Cornerstone and the Policy and Procedures of the agency.
• Assist in the accurate and efficient entry of training data of employee attendance at training programs.
• Ensure that all Training Department Audio-Video Equipment is in good working order and to make recommendations accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient at using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
