    POSITION DETAILS:

    The Technician position assembles, tests, and services manufactured products along with providing maintenance/repair services for facilities and equipment. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assembly and disassembly of precision machined hardware per documentation.
    • Inspection and evaluation of components for reusability within assembly.
    • Cleaning of machined hardware as necessary to return hardware to like new condition prior to reassembly.
    • Collaborate with all departments to ensure that information and data transfers effectively to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
    • Develop and continually refine processes, procedures, and methods to ensure build quality with zero defect and excursions.
    • Ensure safety of employees and quality of products throughout all processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.

    Education and Training

    • High school diploma or equivalent education certification.

    Experience:

    • Must meet one of the following experience or education requirements:
    • Completion of a two-year technical degree from an accredited school in engineering technology, electronics, or similar field.
    • Or a minimum of two years equivalent experience with electro-mechanical technical assemblies and tests in a manufacturing, engineering, or research and development environment.

    Other:

    • Must be willing to work overtime as required
    • Travel on rare occasions

    DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATION:

    • Active Security Clearance.
    • Experience in high/low voltage, electronics, plumbing, PLC's, HVAC, instrumentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
    • Facilities and equipment maintenance exposure.

    WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

    Must be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship. Ability to obtain US government security clearance is required.
