Responsibilities:

Provide haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual patient preferences.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Engage with patients to ensure comfort and satisfaction during services.

Collaborate with the hospice team to understand patient needs and preferences.

Keep accurate records of services provided and patient interactions.

Stay updated on trends and techniques in the beauty industry to offer the best care.

Utilize appropriate tools and products to ensure high-quality grooming services.

Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with patients and their families.

Requirements:

Valid California barber or cosmetologist license.

Experience in a salon or similar environment, preferably with elderly or hospice patients.

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the beauty industry.

Flexibility to adapt to patients' needs and schedules.

Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
