Hello! My family is looking for a caring, vibrant person with good sense of direction and command of city transit to take our two kids (8 yo and 11 yo) from school to activities like soccer and music and back home to our apartment near Barclay's Center. Safety and caring are our top concerns. From our end, we can promise good communication, adherence to best practices for health and safety, and a kind and courteous working relationship. We're offering $22/hr, but we can negotiate a rate Timing is after school on Wed and Fridays, between 2:30pm and 6:30pm. Kids both chat easily with grownups and love learning about the world through the people in their lives. They're good natured and fun, though they have their rainy days like anyone. This is Brooklyn based (between Boerum Hill/Barclay's/Prospect Park) and requires taking the bus/train. For COVID, the parents are vaccinated, and the children will be when they are old enough or the vaccine becomes available, whichever is first. We will also have our flu shots very soon. The kids will wear masks whenever indoors or on transportation, and we can work out whatever other protocols will make all parties feel safe and secure.
