Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, seasonal (spring through fall)

• Hours: 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 5 to 6 days/week (weekends and holidays required)

• Location: Bar Harbor Inn & Spa, Bar Harbor, Maine

• Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour + tips

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café station and prep areas

• Restock pastries, grab-and-go items, and café supplies

• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude

• Take orders efficiently and handle payments accurately

• Deliver consistent, high-quality service with attention to detail

• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Communicate with kitchen, management, and front desk as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Friendly, energetic personality with great communication skills

• Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy morning rushes

• Food & beverage experience preferred (1 year ideal) but not required—we'll train the right person!

• Comfortable handling food and beverages safely and professionally

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to work independently while also being a team player

Performance Measurement:

90-day performance review, guest feedback, beverage quality, and contribution to team morale and service excellence.
