Job Summary CLASSIC CUPS IS A FAMILY RUN CAFE/COFFEE SHOP. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL, FRIENDLY AND HOSPITABLE BARISTA TO JOIN US FOR THE SPRING THROUGH SUMMER SEASON. MUST BE GREAT AT CUSTMER SERVICE possible hours : Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9am-12 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-12pm

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the coffee shop and prepare their coffee orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Opportunity to plan and host events. Opportunity for more hours during special events.

Responsibilities:

Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile

Take food and beverage orders

Explain the menu items to customers

Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex

Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency

Bus tables and wipe down surfaces

Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

basic Barista skills to start

Familiarity with food safety guidelines, food handlers permit is a plus!

Excellent customer service skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for extended periods
