About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Cashier to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and managing cashier duties in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with POS systems, excellent time management skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where customer satisfaction is our top priority.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency

Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling

Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service

Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using retail math skills

Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and serving areas

Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols

Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods through strong time management skills

Display and restock bread as needed and keep the café environment organized and inviting

Requirements:

Previous barista experience or background in the food service or coffee industry is preferred

Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable

Experience in serving customers in a retail or café setting, demonstrating excellent customer service skills

Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations

Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures

Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality service standards

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or move objects up to 20lbs
